Accusation Audit
Pre-empt every negative thing the counterpart could say or think about you, out loud, before they raise it.
An accusation audit is a deliberate front-loading of the worst things the other side might be thinking — said by you, in their voice, before they say them. By naming the negatives explicitly, you defang them: it is impossible to keep accusing someone of being too expensive once they have just opened with "You're probably thinking we're too expensive."

"Look, before we get into numbers — you're probably thinking we're overpriced, that we don't understand the Gulf market, and that we're going to push you for full payment up front. Let me address all three…"
Counterpart
(visibly disarmed) "Well, those were on my list…"
